On the eve of #GivingTuesday and with your support, we’ve honored Hunter’s legacy by supporting local children in need, across an ocean of suffering, to alter their trajectory through discreet and targeted ways.
We know you have many requests for your support, and so appreciate your generosity. Our $5,000 goal is intended to support 2020 programming with a new partner (still in the works but think under-served Chicago and sailing and you’ll be getting “close”!) We’ve received a commitment to match the first $2,500 received through this fundraiser. Please join us in making our newest project possible.
Your past donations have allowed us to:
provide swim and sailing lessons to Hephzibah residents and foster children served by Hephzibah, promoting confidence through competence (2016 – 2018 cause)
provide pool passes to Hephzibah residents, promoting pure summer fun (2017 – 2018 cause)
send six children removed from their homes due to abuse and neglect to HephSIBah Summer Camp, promoting the camp reunification of siblings separated when removed from their homes (2019 cause)
hire a social worker at The Children’s Clinic to identify (during 7,000 annual visits) and connect dental patients with needed behavioral health services, promoting the use of dental visits to deliver behavioral health interventions (2018 – 2020 cause)
provide art and pet therapy services to Hephzibah residents (2019 – 2020 cause)
We are so grateful for the ways your help has allowed us to make positive changes for children who suffer, often in silence, and otherwise lack the support to make such changes in their lives.
