Once again, we've partnered with Hephzibah Home....

…to provide swim opportunities for residents of Hephzibah as well as foster children who receive services through Hephzibah. For the second year in a row, we are providing....

* swim lessons to all residents in need of lessons. This summer, that will involve ___ children. As you may know, residency at Hephzibah is dynamic and children come and go as their health needs dictate. The swim lessons provided by Be The Boat ensure that when a child leaves Hephzibah, they do so with an additional skill set, a proverbial arrow in their quiver to mesh with the engaged social/emotional/behavioral interventions they've received while living at the Home.

* OP Park District pool passes to Hephzibah residents. Many of the residents of Hephzibah attend year-round school and their opportunities for summer play  don't always conform to regularly-scheduled activities. The passes allow the staff and children to visit the pools with confidence, on schedules which align with their availability. 

*swim lesson grants to __ foster children. For many of the foster children served by Hephzibah, water safety has never reached a place of urgency of their personal radar screens. These lessons - at no/reduced fee - allow the children to learn a new skill while embracing water sports in the manner of the other children in their foster family.
